Traditional Holi Dance

                Rombat is the traditional dance in Holi.Rombat is played in holi. In Konkan Holi Festival is celebrated as Shigma and Rombat is the traditional Dance played in the festival. Dpending on the places and regions of the Konkan,it is the festival of 2,5,8,15 days and on the last day of shigma Rangapanchami  is celebrated.Shigma in Holi is celebrated in temples but in the most of the places Holi is celebrated at Maand.Maand is the holy place in the village.

                Amberi is the village in the sindhudurg district in Konkan region. Shigma in a Holi Festival  in Amberi is celebrated in a unique way.Shigma is a 5 day festival celebrated at the location Maand. And Maand is at L.Shri.Shiva B.Mhadgut's House in amberi.
